Prize List Now Available for The Jumper® Classic August 8-12, 2012

-  Offering more than 50 classes and more prize money than ever before, the Jumper Classic® will be show jumping's hottest destination for the Northeast this August.  The prize list for The Jumper Classic, a five-day international event to be held on its new dates, August 8-12, has been mailed out and is now available online at www.jumperclassic.com.

"We are pleased to have several new sponsors for classes this year and to have been able to increase the prize money we offer to exhibitors," said Melissa Lovasco, President & CEO of The Jumper Classic. In the non-nominated section, Watershed Farm, LLC is sponsoring the Low Child /Adult Amateur Jumper Division .91-1.00 Meter, and in the nominated section Holistic Animal Healing Clinic is sponsoring the Masters Division 1.05 Meter. Junior Division prizes range from $1,500 to $5,000.  For the first time, the show has added a "Clear Round/Blue Round" option for riders who can compete for ribbons. 

Classes will be held in two all-weather footing rings with new GGT Footing installed in 2011, and feature classes will be held on grass footing in the Coldwell Banker Previews Grand Prix Field.  Highlights of the show are:

$3,500 D.G VENTURES SPEED DERBY • 1.25 Meter

$12,000 SPEED DERBY • 1.35 Meter

$15,000 EQUINE INSURANCE SPEED STAKE PRESENTED BY GREAT AMERICAN • 1.35 Meter

$75,000 FIDELITY INVESTMENTS® GRAND PRIX, National Standard

“Being a five-day show, The Jumper Classic offers a lot in a very short span of time, with classes for riders of all levels in the sport.  It’s a world class competition in a fun atmosphere for exhibitors and spectators alike,” said Mike Belisle, Show Manager.

Don't miss this favorite show jumping event, which has been a tradition in New England for 23 years. The Jumper Classic is known for its friendly atmosphere, professional competition, charity luncheons, Family Day, a VIP luncheon on the day of the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix, boutique shopping, and "meet and greet" event with Olympic riders.  Ample stabling is available on the show grounds for 600 horses. 

"The entire southeast corner of New Hampshire has been very welcoming and accommodating to this show since our move in 2008," said Lovasco. "Exhibitors and show attendees will find ample overnight accommodations at excellent rates, as well as great local restaurants and easy access. Our new summer show dates will allow our exhibitors to experience the great coast of New England during the best part of the year."
