Devon, PA – The 2005 USEF Junior Dressage Team Championship returned to the East Coast for another exciting showcase of some of America’s most talented young dressage riders, hosted by Dressage at Devon CDI 3*/Y in Devon, Pennsylvania, September 27 through October 2.

Three teams of four riders, from 14 to 18-years-old and from all parts of the country, competed over the course of three days in the FEI Junior Tests. Scores from both the Team and Individual Tests were averaged to determine overall rankings and the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Teams.

Emerging victorious from the exciting weekend was Team Liberty (overall average 66.319%), including Noel Williams and “Pik L” (OH), Reena Idnani and “Levant” (AZ), Amanda Stearns and “Nice Catch” (FL), and Ryan Michelle Eskridge and “Rubin” (NC). Noel Williams and “Pik L” also claimed the Overall Individual Championship. The Silver Medal was awarded to Team Independence (65.576%), consisting of Ana DiGironimo and “Cadanz” (NJ), Jennifer Dainer and “Troll” (CA), Arianne Weiss and “Du-Fox Paw” (FL), and Jami Edwards with “Nero” (NC). Winning the Bronze Medal was Team Freedom (64.330%), with Caroline Roffman and “Bulgari 5” (FL), Eloise Aud and “Crocodile Dundee” (CO), Kelly Gormley and “Irioso” (MI), and Jordan Meadows with “Lerro” (IL). Only about one overall percentage point separated each team placing.

Also of special note, Ana DiGironimo (Team Independence) and Amanda Stearns (Team Liberty) were voted by their fellow competitors to be the winners of the annual Sportsmanship Award.
