Tulsa, OK – The Global Reining Sport Group, proud owners and producers of the Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic are thrilled to announce that the 2012 ATRC will once again play host to the highly-esteemed 2012 Adequan/USEF National Reining Championship.

Offering major prize money, fabulous national championship trophies and awards, and major bragging rights as the 2012 US National Champion in the sport of Reining, the Adequan/USEF National Reining Championship is a welcome addition to the 2012 Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic.

Concurrent with the Open division held on Friday, August 31st, the Adequan/USEF National Reining Championship will feature the nation’s most elite horse and rider combinations all vying for the top of the national championship podium and the gold medal.

Also concurrent, an FEI Concours de Reining International (CRI) offers riders the chance to begin their qualifications for international competition as we approach the important qualifying period for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. In order to compete at the international level on behalf of the United States, a number of qualifying measures will be taken, the first of which is to start the qualifying period as a three-star athlete. The Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic provides one-, two- and three-star classes within the CRI structure to help athletes achieve their levels prior to the important qualifying start date of January 1, 2013.

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is the National Governing Body for all Equestrian Sport in the United States and is the US Affiliate of the Federation Equestre International (FEI), the International Governing Body for Equestrian Sport.
