Lexington, KY – With preparations for the 2006 competition year in full swing, limited space is still available for the highly successful 2006 United States Equestrian Federation Outreach Program, started by the USEF in 2005. The program is designed to build a productive bridge between the USEF office, competition organizers, show managers and competitors. In addition to employees rolling up their sleeves and sharing the work load for a few days, USEF will be able to assess the needs of organizers, managers and competitors and in turn, better serve them in daily USEF operations.

“It is important that USEF employees understand what happens in the field and on the front lines of competitions,” says John Long, Chief Executive Officer of USEF. “Through this experience, the staff can see what issues managers have to interface with both at the USEF office and with exhibitors. As we continue with the outreach program, we will be able to improve our process to better serve the competition organizers, managers, and most importantly, our members.”

In 2006, as many as 30 to 40 shows of all levels will participate in the USEF Outreach Program, regardless of breed or discipline. Please submit your application for consideration by December 31, 2005.
