Nusz competes in the East Conference Amateur-Owner division of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series aboard Vesuvius. The month of October was a success for Nusz and her riding partner, as they earned a 1st place finish at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show and a 4th place finish at the Washington International Horse Show, putting them atop the rider standings for the month. This also solidified the pair’s place atop the standings for the full season
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series honors one rider each month as the Rider of the Month. The honor goes to the one rider who earns the most points on one horse in Series competition that month.
“We would like to congratulate Meagan Nusz on being our Rider of the Month for October,” said George Morris, President of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame. “Capturing the Rider of the Month twice in one season is a true accomplishment, and we know Meagan will continue to be successful next season.”
The Series hosts separate divisions for junior and amateur-owner riders in two Conferences—the East Conference and the West Conference. Series standings are used to help determine junior and amateur-owner entries for the Alltech National Horse Show and Las Vegas National Horse Show.
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame conducts the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series, held under Grand Prix rules and specifications. The series receives sponsor support from SmartPak, Taylor Harris Insurance Services, The National Horse Show Association of America and Stadium Jumping, Inc.
