by By Classic Communications | Nov 18, 2005, 2:52 AM

Equestrian Entertainment Partners (EEP) announced the broadcast schedule for its original programming, "Inside Horse Sports," featuring a special presentation of the 2005 Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, at 3 p.m. EST on Friday, November 25, and a five-part mini-series, "Eventing: The Ultimate Horse Sport," airing on consecutive Fridays starting December 2 on RFD-TV.

The programming is sponsored in part by World Equestrian Brands, Dover Saddlery, Purina, Taittinger and the United States Eventing Association, and can be seen in more than 28 million homes in the United States via satellite and cable on RFD-TV on the following channels: DirecTV Channel 379; Dish Network Channel 9409; Mediacom Channel 78; NCTC (check local listings).

One of only four elite eventing competitions in the world at this highest level of CCI**** competition, the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is perhaps the ultimate test of superior skill for equestrian athletes. EEP brings this long-celebrated event to American television in a 90-minute special presentation of "Inside Horse Sports"; with introductory commentary by U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist David O’Connor.

The sport of three-day eventing can look easy, however, it is anything but. It requires skill and sacrifice, power and precision. The right horse, the right mind-set, and sometimes pure luck can make the difference between a clean ride and a harrowing fall. Will today’s most promising riders learn this the hard way? Find out on "Eventing: The Ultimate Horse Sport," a unique television series that offers a revealing look at the grit behind the glamour in equestrian sport.

"Inside Horse Sports" programming, including full coverage of Burghley, will be available “on-demand” through EEP’s Virtual Behind-the-Scenes Pass web channel at www.equestrianentertainment.com/btspass after each program airs.

DVDs of the 2005 Burghley event are available through Bit of Britain at www.bitofbritain.com.
