Auburn, AL - The host team will get a chance to win the first ever SEC Championship Saturday against a dangerous South Carolina team that's up and down season makes them upredicatble, but always formidable. The Gamecock's skill was on display Friday as they soundly defeated the country's No.1 ranked team to reach the championship final. The Gamecocks hunter seat team won eight points over Georgia and their western team secured a 10-7 win with two more points and a couple of crucial ties.

Auburn also got a great performance from their hunter seat team on the way to an 11-8 win over Texas A&M. The Tigers won equitation over fences, 4-1, and equitation on the flat, 3-2. "We knew in order to secure a win, we'd need to rely on our Hunt Seat side,"  said Auburn head coach Greg Williams, "and they delivered huge." The Aggies won the western competition 5-4, but it wasn't enough to beat the tigers.

The final tomorrow is set up to be a good one between teams with similar strengths. They have split their season series 1-1 and each match has been decided by one point (both were 10-9 descisions with the home team winning each time). Texas A&M and Georgia will face off in the consolation match at 10am ET. The final will start at 2pm ET.
