A Top 25 Rated Event by the North American Riders Group, the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows will welcome some of the country's best horses and riders and couldn't do it without sponsor support. The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows also contribute to the Old Salem Farm Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Jumpers will compete over courses designed by Guilherme Jorge and Anthony D'Ambrosio. Along with increased prize money this year, a new Medium Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper division was added, and we are happy to offer a Pre-Green Hunter Stake Class during week two as part of the the USHJA Pre-Green Hunter Incentive Program.

The $100,000 Empire State Grand Prix, held on Sunday, May 19, will offer $25,000 more in prize money in 2013 and is presented by The Kincade Group. The $50,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix on Sunday, May 12, is presented by Suncast® Corporation. The 2013 Equitation Challenge is an exciting opportunity for juniors and young riders to compete in a two-round class on the grass derby field on Saturday, May 11, and is sponsored by AIG/Kaplow Insurance Agency and Heritage Farm. The Kaplow Insurance Agency has been involved with Old Salem Farm Horse Shows for years and Evan Kaplow noted, “So many of our local clients attend. It is just a great place to catch up with our friends after the winter months. I personally love the property and grounds. The horse show is in my backyard, so it is just great to get outside and enjoy a classy and very competitive horse show.”
Hunters take center stage on Saturday, May 18, in the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby presented by Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate. Anthony Cutugno, Director of Houlihan Lawrence's Luxury Country Properties and Equestrian Divisions says that they are thrilled to be a part of the 2013 Old Salem Spring Horse Shows. “This exciting event gives us another exceptional venue to showcase our beautiful equestrian properties while cultivating new relationships with attendees from around the region,” he remarked.
