Watch Will Faudree and Andromaque's Jumping Round
In the CCI3* competition Jessica Phoenix and Exponential knocked one rail during the jumping, but managed to the win after Buck Davidson & D.A. Adirmo weren't able to capitalize. 8 faults dropped Davidson into second place and gave Exponential the win. For Exponential, who was withdrawn from the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Land Rover in April before cross country, it was a little bit of redemption.
Watch Jessica Phoenix react to her win.
Jessica and Exponential earned a respectable 52.70 in dressage, and looked great on their way to a double clear cross country round. They finished with a total score of 56.70. Buck and D.A. Adirmo were just over a point better in dressage, earning a 51.50, and equally impressive through the cross country, but with one extra slip-up in the jumping will look to the future, which appears to be very bright, for a CCI3* win. They finished on 59.50.
Finishing in third were Courtney Cooper and Who's a Star with 63.90.
Caitlin Silliman & Remington XXV won the CCI2* and Lauren Kieffer won the CIC2* with Veronica.
