Kent Farrington takes Third in Rome CSIO5* Speed Class

Rome, Italy - The Rome CSIO5* started off well Thursday for Kent Farrington and Robin Parsky's Blue Angel. The pair finished third in the opening 1.50m Speed Class. With a clear round in 64.77s Farrington and the speedy, agile mare secured their share of the 23,500euro purse and earned a place near the top of a talented field. Winning the class were Great Britain's Scott Brash and Bon Ami, while Italian rider Juan Carlos Garcia gave the hometown crowd something to cheer about and finished second on Prince de La Mare. American Richard Spooner also finished in the money by riding clear in 66.54s with Cristallo and taking sixth.
