Mill Spring, N.C. – The Adequan®/USEF Para Dressage National Championship and Tryon Fall 2 FEI CPEDI3* begins today at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) and will continue through Sunday, September 15, crowning a new Adequan®/USEF Para Dressage CPEDI3* National Champion at the conclusion of competition. The Adequan®/USEF Para Dressage National Championship will see more than 20 combinations, including FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) medalists Rebecca Hart, Kate Shoemaker, and Roxanne Trunnell, and 2016 Paralympian Sydney Collier, as they contend for top honors throughout the weekend. The competition also serves as a U.S. Para Dressage qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The Adequan® U.S. Para Dressage Team will go head-to-head with Canada in the team portion of the FEI CPEDI 3* and will feature the following horse and athlete combinations listed in alphabetical order:
Sydney Collier (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and All In One, a 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Going for Gold LLC
Rebecca Hart (Wellington, Fla.) and El Corona Texel, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Rowan O’Riley
Kate Shoemaker (Peoria, Ariz.) and Solitaer 40, a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Kate, Craig, & Deena Shoemaker
Roxanne Trunnell (Rowlett, Texas) and Dolton, a seven-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Flintwoode Farms LLC
