Aurora, Colo. - Join the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) in celebrating the beauty and versatility of the Arabian horse at the U.S. National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show from October 18-26 at Expo Square in Tulsa, Okla.
Competitive class sessions start each day at 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.
Educational T.A.I.L. (Total Arabian Interactive Learning) tours will be available at the beginning of the show. These tours are an opportunity for newcomers to the breed to meet an Arabian horse up close and learn about their history, characteristics, and care. Guests will take a backstage tour of the show and watch horses and riders compete. Tours are free and open to the public on the following days and times:
· Friday, October 18, at 6 p.m.
· Saturday, October 19, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
· Sunday, October 20, at 2 p.m.
· Monday, October 21, at 6 p.m.
· Tuesday, October 22, at 6 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25, the show will feature The Stars Come Out at Night, when $300,000 in prize money will be available to the winners of the Arabian English Performance Association (AEPA), Arabian Western Pleasure Association (AWPA), Arabian Hunter Pleasure Association (AHPA), and Senior Mare classes. A live Calcutta auction prior to each class to auction off the horses/riders in each class. Proceeds benefit Arabian Horsemen’s Distress Fund, which helps Arabian horsemen who have fallen on hard times, and the AEPA, AWPA, and AHPA. Wristbands will be available for purchase at a nominal fee for the hosted bars and food to support the fundraiser. Live music will accompany the event.
A market is available from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day in the Exchange Center. A variety of vendors will be on hand selling boots, Western wear, show apparel, tack, art, and more.
