North Salem, N.Y.– The North American Youth Show Jumping Championships presented by the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), part of the Adequan®/FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) presented by Gotham North, began on Wednesday, August 1 with the horse inspections. A total of 87 athletes and their equine partners across the children’s, junior, and young rider divisions presented their horses to the ground jury successfully. Competition begins on Thursday, August 2, with each division’s USHJA North American Show Jumping Individual Qualifying Competition, which determine their eligibility for their division’s USHJA North American Show Jumping Individual Championship on Sunday. On Friday, each division will compete in the USHJA North American Show Jumping Team Championship.
