The 2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Land Rover (RK3DE) took place April 26-29 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. As America’s only top CCI4* event and the Rolex/USEF CCI4* Eventing National Championship, the RK3DE saw a crowd of nearly 80,700 spectators gather to show their support for some of the world’s top horses.

NBC then aired the RK3DE on Sunday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. ET. This was the 14th time that RK3DE has aired on national television with the 2017 NBC ratings drawing 649,000 viewers (p2+ ratings), beating the 2016 ratings. Starting with 559,000 viewers, the broadcast gained momentum as the program progressed and finished at a high of 733,000 total viewers.

The Sunday broadcast of RK3DE was the second highest-rated sports program across all reported networks in the broadcast window, behind only NASCAR, which aired on FOX.

Viewership on the USEF Network was also strong with 153,999 live plays, 114,440 on-demand plays, and nearly 11,000 hours of on-demand content viewed.

Coverage of the RK3DE is now available for US Equestrian members only on the USEF Network.
