The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team Set Sights on FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ France

U.S. Dressage European Young Rider Tour kicks off at the Compiègne CDI-Y

Lexington, Ky. - The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team is headed to their first European team competition of the year for the FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ France from May 18-19 at Les Internationaux de Dressage in Compiègne. Led by U.S. Dressage Development Coach Charlotte Bredahl, the team of Katherine Bateson-Chandler, Heather Blitz, Shelly Francis, and Nick Wagman will go head-to-head with six other teams when competition gets underway on Saturday at 4:15 a.m. ET. 

Additionally, U.S. Dressage European Young Rider Tour athletes Ben Ebeling, Callie Jones, and Kayla Kadlubek kick off their European competition with the Compiègne CDI-Y on Friday, May 17. The Tour is a link to the Discover Dressage™ USEF/USDF Emerging Athlete Program and an opportunity for the athletes to gain valuable experience abroad. The Tour will conclude with a team competition at the CDIO-Y Hagen in June.

Last Time Out

Bateson-Chandler and Alcazar last competed at the 2019 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) 12, winning the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle and placing in the top three in the CDI4* Grand Prix.

Blitz and Semper Fidelis most recently competed at the 2019 Tryon Spring Dressage I CDI3*, placing in the top 10 in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special.

Francis and Danilo most recently won the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Hagen CDI4*.

Wagman and Don John most recently competed at the Del Mar National CDI-W, earning top three placings in the Grand Prix Special and the Grand Prix.

Blitz: Guadalajara 2011 Pan-American Games U.S. Dressage Team gold medalist and individual silver medalist
