Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian has named the following athletes to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Nations Cup™ at the Houghton Hall CICO3*, May 25-28 in Great Britain. Setting their sights on Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials CCI3*, June 8-11, and Luhmühlen CCI4* presented by DHL, June 15-18, team members will utilize Houghton Hall CICO3* as practice and preparation for those important, upcoming competitions. Leslie Law will act as Chef d’Equipe for the team at this event, in addition to his role as the Emerging Athlete Coach for the Karen Stives Endowment Emerging Athletes Tour.

The following athlete/horse combinations will compete for the U.S., listed alphabetically:

Hannah Sue Burnett (The Plans, Va.) and Harbour Pilot, Jacqueline Mars’ 2003 Irish Sport Horse gelding

Katherine Coleman (New Orleans, La.) and Longwood, her own 2002 Irish Sport Horse gelding

Caroline Martin (Miami Beach, Fla.), a Karen Stives Endowment Emerging Athletes Tour Recipient, and either Pebbly Maximus, her own and Sherrie Martin’s 2003 Irish Sport Horse gelding, or The Apprentice, Sherrie Martin’s 2004 Irish Sport Horse gelding

The second member of the Karen Stives Endowment Emerging Athletes Tour, Mackenna Shea (Temecula, Calif.) and Landioso, her own 2002, Bavarian Warmblood gelding, have opted not to contest the Houghton Hall CICO3*, opting to focus on their preparation for the Bramham International Horse Trials in June.
