US Equestrian Selects Competitions for Roadster Pony and Hackney Roadster Pony Heel Measurements

Lexington, Ky. - The United States Equestrian Federation (US Equestrian) Hackney Committee has selected the six competitions at which heel measurements will be required in Roadster Pony and Hackney Roadster Pony Championship classes as defined by USEF Hackney and Roadster Division rules. The mandatory heel measurements will be taken from the first-place and fourth-place ponies in the following competitions in 2017:
 
Asheville Lions Club Benefit Horse Show – Fletcher, N.C. (May 17-20)

Midwest Charity Horse Show – Springfield, Ill. (June 13-17)

Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show – Lexington, Ky. (July 3-8)

Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show – Louisville, Ky. (August 19-26)

All American Horse Classic – Indianapolis, Ind. (September 5-9)

UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show – Kansas City, Mo. (November 7-11)
 
Exhibitors, owners, and trainers of Roadster or Hackney Roadster ponies are encouraged to review USEF rules HK134.4 and RD114.2 for further information about the requirement.
 
Information regarding these measurements will be sent to competition managers and stewards prior to their respective competitions.
