US Equestrian U.S. Driving Coach to Part Ways After 2018

by US Equestrian Communications Department | Oct 5, 2018, 11:43 AM

Lexington, Ky. -  US Equestrian and the Driving Sport Committee (DSC) announced today the U.S. Driving Coach, Thorsten Zarembowicz will not renew his contract for 2019. He will fulfill the completion of his 2018 contract. US Equestrian and the DSC bid a very grateful farewell to Zarembowicz for his years of service and dedication to the U.S. Driving Team and programs. Many developing drivers, horses/ponies, and U.S. team members have advanced their training and performance under his guidance.

The DSC is taking the opportunity to complete a comprehensive evaluation of the U.S. driving program structure to determine the best options for moving forward. The primary goal outlined for the new leadership will be to continue to develop the sport nationally and guide the U.S. driving athletes to sustainable international success. It is anticipated that US Equestrian will generate a job description and open a search process, upon recommendation of the DSC.

The USEF International High Performance Programs are generously supported by the USET Foundation, USOC, and USEF Sponsors and Members.
