Mill Spring, N.C. – The U.S. Reining Team will take on the world’s top teams at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ (WEG) Tryon 2018 tomorrow, September 12. Chef d’Equipe Jeff Petska leads the team of Casey Deary and Heavy Duty Chex, Dan Huss and Ms Dreamy, Jordan Larson and ARC Gunnabeabigstar, and Cade McCutcheon and Custom Made Gun, with Gabe Hutchins and FM Shine N Tag Chex competing as an individual combination, as they set out to defend U.S. reining’s title as World Champions. Competition will get underway at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

Hutchins and FM Shine N Tag Chex most recently competed at the USEF Selection Trial and WEG Reining Test Event, placing in the top 10 on a total score of 442.0 points. Over the course of his career, Hutchins has over $550,000 NRHA lifetime earnings. He has had a strong 2018 so far, winning the FEI CRI3* at the Cactus Reining Classic with FM Shine N Tag Chex. They also placed in the top five in the FEI CRI3* at the NRBC.
