Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian (USEF) is pleased to announce that the USA Equestrian Trust has once again committed to supporting the U.S. Saddle Seat Team program. Funding from the Trust will include substantial grants in the 2018 and 2019 competition years to support the 2018 Saddle Seat World Cup Team and World Cup Competition, as well as the 2019 Young Riders Team.

Bob Bell, member of the USA Equestrian Trust Board of Directors, shared the news with Lori Nelson, US Equestrian’s Senior Director of National Affiliates, at the 2018 US Equestrian Annual Meeting in January.

The Trust has been a strong supporter of USA Saddle Seat for many years. They have provided grants to help lead the World Cup and Young Riders teams to medal in international competition, putting saddle seat in the spotlight as an international discipline. US Equestrian is excited to continue this partnership for the next two years.

The Saddle Seat World Cup is a bi-annual international competition that includes both three- and five-gaited sections. Teams from as many as five nations compete for the coveted World Cup titles. The 2018 Saddle Seat World Cup Competition is scheduled to take place July 4-6, 2018, in Lexington, Ky.
