LO Unsportsmanlike Conduct Reporting Process
LOs may be observers or notified of instances where members have made unsportsmanlike comments at a Federation licensed competition. LOs may utilize the following options to address these complaints at a competition. LOs can encourage members to utilize the Disciplinary Action Complaint form or submit a verbal/written report to USEF.

NGB Compliance Complaint Form
This complaint form is to be used when filing an NGB Compliance Complaint. A complaint that is not filed in accordance with Federation Bylaws shall render the filing ineffective and the complaint shall not be considered to have been properly filed. The complaint shall be filed with the Federation Regulation Department at [email protected]. At the time of filing, Claimant must also serve a copy of the complaint on [email protected] and [email protected]. The Bylaws are published on the Federation website at www.usef.org Any questions should be directed to the Director, Regulation Department at [email protected].

Motivated by its commitment to the welfare of the horse, USEF leadership took action effective December 1, 2011, by restricting use to a single NSAID. This document provides guidance to remaining complaint with the rules.

Opportunity to Participate Complaint Form
This complaint form must be used when filing an Opportunity to Participate Complaint with the Federation. Supplemental Procedures for Complaints and Grievances
Bylaw 701.3 authorizes the Federation’s Regulation Department (FRD) to generally administer and oversee all complaints and empowers the FRD to promulgate procedures in addition to those set forth in the Bylaws for effective administration of reports of violations or formal complaints received by the Federation. Under this authority, the FRD adopts these additional procedures.
