Allie Knowles is a five-star eventer based in Lexington, Ky. A lifelong eventer, she reached the top levels of the sport with Sound Prospect, a Thoroughbred gelding owned by Sound Prospect, LLC. Together, Knowles and “Sounder” finished eighth at the CCI4*-S at Poplar Place in 2014 and third in the CCI4*-S at Red Hills International in 2015. They finished in second place at the Galway Downs CCI4*-L in 2015 and eighth in the CCI4*-S at the Carolina International in 2016 before completing their first CCI5* event together at the Kentucky Three-Day Event that year. At the 2019 Jersey Fresh Three-Day Event, Knowles finished second in the CCI4*-S with Sound Prospect and fourth in the same division with Princess B. At Chattahoochee Hills two weeks later, she repeated the feat, placing second and fourth in the Advanced with Morswood and Ms. Poppins, respectively. She went on to place fifth in the CCI4*-S with Princess B at the Morven Park Fall Horse Trials that same year. Knowles started her 2020 season with a second-place finish in the Rocking Horse Winter II Advanced with Ms. Poppins and third in the same division with Business Class.
