Dan Huss is the owner and head trainer of Huss Performance Horses which he operates with his wife Wendy in Scottsdale, AZ. Huss was one of the top-50 leading NRHA Open lifetime money earners in 2016. He has also proven to be a successful coach for Non Pro reiners. Huss has earned a multitiude of national honors and he is an NRHA Open Futurity and Derby finalist, as well an NRBC finalist. Huss has had strong showings in competition this year. In March, Huss tied with fellow teammate Jordan Larson to win the FEI CRI3* at the USEF Selection Trial and WEG Reining Test Event on a composite score of 450 points aboard Ms Dreamy. In June, he placed second in the USA Reining Open at the NRHA Derby in Oklahoma City, OK. Keeping it in the family, Wendy joins Huss at the WEG this year not only as a supporter, but as Ms Dreamy’s groom.
