Devon Kane began her dressage journey under the guidance of Olympian Michelle Gibson, who helped her achieve early success with an individual gold medal and team bronze at the 2007 FEI North American Youth Championships.
Kane has developed multiple horses to the Grand Prix level, competing internationally with consistent placings in CDIs at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival and represented the U.S. in Nations Cup competition. In 2014, Kane won the U.S. Dressage Finals Grand Prix Championship and represented The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team internationally, including a start in the FEI Dressage Nations Cup Falsterbo CDIO5* in 2015 with Destiny.
Kane was selected as a member of The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team for 2025 FEI Dressage Nations Cup USA CDIO3*, where she and Vamos helped the team secure a silver medal. The duo then went on to win individual bronze in the FEI Nations Cup FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDIO3*. She has been a mainstay on the winter circuit in Wellington, Fla., for the past decades where she operates her business out of Diamante Farms with her husband, Kevin Kohmann.
