Jennifer Williams is a professional dressage trainer who operates Summervale Farm near Seattle, Wash. In 2010, she was awarded the $25,000 Anne Barlow Ramsay Grant to campaign an American-bred horse internationally, which she used to travel to and train in Germany with HS Wistar.
Williams has had success in Grand Prix competition at the international level in recent years with Millione Partners LLC’s Danish Warmblood gelding, Millione. In 2019, the pair won the CDI3* Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at the 2019 Golden State Dressage Festival and the CDI-W Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle to Music in Temecula, Calif. In 2020, they placed first in the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions to win the USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship. In 2021, the pair made their senior team debut at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup CDIO3* USA, helping The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team earn the silver medal. In 2022, Millione and Williams won both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Joppe K joined Williams' string of competition horses in late 2022, winning the Lovsta Future Challenge with a score of 70%.
Joppe K and Williams took 2023 by storm, winning the Calgary CDI3* Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle. They went on to win the Grand Prix Special at Touch of Class Dressage CDI 3* and the Grand Prix Special at Thunderbird CDI 3*. The duo were shortlisted for the 2023 Pan American Games.
2024 was an incredibly successful year for Joppe and Williams, winning a silver medal at the Nation's Cup in Wellington, Fla. The duo were moved to the Pre-Elite List for Team USA Dressage in 2024. Joppe K and Williams won both the Grand Prix at TerraNova 3* and the Grand Prix at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival 3*.
