Elian Royale has been a consistent mount for talented U.S. young rider, Erin Nichols. The pair made their debut in FEI Young Rider competition in 2022 and have steadily moved up through the levels since. The pair made their Grand Prix debut together in 2023. 

With Nichols in the irons, Elian Royale has competed around the world including starts in U25 competition at the prestigious Future Champions competition in Hagen, Germany, as well as at CHIO Aachen and in Kronberg. Following their European tour in the summer of 2023, the pair made the jump to Grand Prix, and were named to their first Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team in 2024 at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup USA CDIO3* in Wellington, Fla. The pair contested their first CDI5* together later that season.  

The duo competed abroad at Hagen once again in 2024 in U25 competition. They made their second senior team start for The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team in the 2025 FEI Dressage Nations Cup USA CDIO3*. Nichols and Elian Royale produced a strong test, helping the team secure silver.
