Keeneland has grown to be a dominant force in the international jumping arena with over 149 FEI starts since his international debut in 2020 with Italian rider, Francesco Turturiello before transitioning to Spencer Smith’s operation. Keeneland has become one of the top mounts for Smith after joining his team in late 2023 and the pair have found incredible success in their 36 international starts together.

Keeneland was also successful in his younger years earning competition miles at CHIO Aachen and FEI Jumping Nations Cup CSIO5* competitions in both Rome and Vancouver-Langley.

Smith and Keeneland quickly became one of the most consistent combinations for the U.S. Jumping Team throughout 2024. The duo represented the United States in the 2024 FEI Jumping Nations Cup Wellington CSIO4*, FEI Jumping Nations Cup Falsterbo CSIO5* and the highlight FEI Jumping Nations Cup Dublin CSIO5*, where they jumped double clear helping to secure a win for the U.S. Jumping Team. The duo was selected to represent the United States on the U.S. Jumping Team in the FEI Longines League of Nations Jumping Final CSIO5* in Barcelona, Spain, in October 2024.
