Vandiver and Doug Payne began their partnership in 2015 and steadily rose through the ranks of eventing. They collected their first international win at the 2018 Carolina International CCI4*-S.

In 2019, Payne and Vandiver finished fourth in the Carolina International CCI4*-S. They finished fifth overall and were the Land Rover/USEF CCI5*-L Eventing Reserve National Champions at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian™.

In 2020, they placed second in the Stable View Oktoberfest CCI4*-S and fourth in the Buckeye Nutrition USEF CCI4*-L Eventing National Championship at the MARS Tryon International Three-Day Event.

In 2021, Payne and Vandiver won The Fork CCI4*-S. Then, they collected a 12th-place finish in the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian CCI5*-L.
