Greya

Nickname: Greya Owner: Kent Farrington LLC Groom: Denise Moriarty Gender: Mare Breed: Oldenburg Disciplines: Jumping Sire: Colestus Dam: Contessa 128 Foal Date: 3/24/2014

Greya has been a part of Kent Farrington's string since she was a young horse, learning the ropes and growing into a top caliber Grand Prix horse for the seasoned Olympic veteran.

Farrington's first start with Greya at the international level was in 2021, when she was just seven-years-old, and the 2014 Oldenburg mare has steadily gained experience with Farrington in the irons.

The duo jumped their first CSI5* in 2023 with Greya continuing to gain confidence at the 1.60m height. The pair started to amass significant results in the fall of 2023, earning top five finishes at a number of international competitions, including in Traverse City, at The American Gold Cup, at Royal in Toronto, CA, and the Geneva CSI5* in Switzerland.

The 2024 FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was their first international championship together, and the pair earned a fourth place overall finish after four rounds of 1.60m jumping.

They earned their first CSI5* Grand Prix win in the Rolex Grand Prix of La Baule in June, where they bested a class of 50 other entries to take top honors.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be their first together, while it will be Farrington's third Olympics representing the United States.
