Fan Tastico H is a young Oldenburg gelding who was ridden at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games by Paralympian Roxanne Trunnell, who was an individual gold medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. The pair have only continued to impress in their short career together, earning grade-high marks since March. The pair have showed their growing potential to reach the 80% mark with Para Grand Prix Freestyle scores above 80% on multiple occasions, including earning an 82.934% at Tryon in June.
2024 was an incredibly successful year for Fan Tastico H and Trunnell. They attended the World Equestrian Center - Ocala CPEDI3* and Tryon Summer Dressage Festival CPEDI3*, where they won the FEI Para Grade I Grand Prix Freestyle both times, helping to secure consecutive victories for the team. It was these performances that landed the duo a spot on the 2024 U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team Short List and then later on, the U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team. Their debut in Paris marked Trunnell's third Paralympic Games and Fan Tastico H's first. Fan Tastico H and Trunnell took to the world stage with class, earning a silver medal in the FEI Para Grade I Grand Prix Individual Test A and a Team gold at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Fan Tastico H made his partnership debut with Marie Vonderheyden at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival 9 CPEDI3*, where they aided the team to their second win of the year with strong scores in the Grade I Tests and Freestyle.
