Commando 3 (Connor) joined Boyd Martin’s stable in late 2022 after beginning his career with Louise Romeike in Sweden. With Martin, Commando 3 has become one of the top U.S. international horses, with impressive placings at the CCI4* level since his arrival in the U.S.

The pair won three CCI4* competitions beginning in the fall of 2023 leading into the spring of 2024. The first win came at Morven Park in Leesburg, V.A. in the challenging CCI4*-L, followed by a strong spring season with another win at Stable View in Aiken, S.C., in the CCI4*-S.

The following year in 2024, the pair took an impressive second-place finish at the Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI4*-S, in a field of 61 starters that featured many of the country’s top FEI combinations. In total, Commando 3 has started in 25 FEI events, placing inside of the top five on 11 different occasions.
