The Land Rover U.S. Driving Team finished the horse inspection and is set for the start of the 2022 FEI Driving World Championship for Single Horses hosted in Le Pin-au-Haras, France, from September 15-18, 2022. Raymond Helmuth grew up in an Amish family in Iowa, and horses were a way of life. He struck off on his own as a draft horse trainer, driver, and farrier before starting his own training business. Helmuth began competing in combined driving and claimed the 2020 USEF Preliminary Single Horse Combined Driving National Champion and 2022 USEF Advanced Single Horse Combined Driving Reserve National Champion title. In 2024, he won the national champion title with Kendro.
