Leslie Berndl has found much success in the sport of combined driving. Berndl is a six-time FEI Driving World Championship for Single Horses competitor, partnering with Uminco for three consecutive world championships. She has earned numerous USEF Combined Driving National Championship titles with several horses and ponies. In 2024, Berndl and Impressive were named to the team for the FEI Driving World Championship for Single Horses.

After Taylor Bradish discovered combined driving at age 16, she has steadily moved up the ranks in combined driving. With Katydid Duchess, she is three-time USEF Advanced Single Horse Combined Driving National Champion (2020-2022).

Raymond Helmuth

Hometown: Cambridge, Iowa Birthday: 5/29/1984 Sport/Disciplines: Combined Driving

Raymond Helmuth grew up in an Amish family in Iowa, and horses were a way of life. He struck off on his own as a draft horse trainer, driver, and farrier before starting his own training business. Helmuth began competing in combined driving and claimed the 2020 USEF Preliminary Single Horse Combined Driving National Champion and 2022 USEF Advanced Single Horse Combined Driving Reserve National Champion title. In 2024, he won the national champion title with Kendro.
