Sinead Halpin & Manoir de Carneville had two rails down, one in the Rolex triple combination and one later on the course, to add 8 penalties to their score and finish WEG on 114.4 total .

Lynn Symansky & Donner Finish On 135.4

Boyd Martin & Shamwari 4 Clear!

They had13.6 time penalties, but no trouble over the obstacles. Boyd Martin & Shamwari 4 were the last and best around the cross country course today and they'll carry a 59.9 score into the jumping phase on Sunday .

Lynn Symansky & Donner on 131.4 After XC

Lynn Symansky & Donner had trouble at two of the 35 fences and finished with 40 penaltuies over the obstacles and 38.4 time penalties and now have a 131.4 total

Severson Through XC Course

Kim Severson & Fernhill Fearless have the brest result of the day so far for the U.S.. They had a little trouble on fence 30, but they're through the course safely with 20.4 time penalties and will carry a total of 91.2 into the jumping phase on Sunday.

Sinead Halpin Finishes

Sinead Halpin & Manoir de Carneville made it through the cross country course at haras-au-pin with 20 jumping and 35.6 time faults. They will advance with a 106.4 total score.

U.S. Team out of Eventing Medal Contetion

The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team's hope for a Team medal at WEG evaporated quickly today with the first two team combinations choosing to retire on course. Buck Davidson & Ballynoe Castle RM were in the very tough position of pathfinders, and were strong for most of the course "Reggie" was got tired toward the end and Buck decide to retire after refusals in the final water complex. Phillip Dutton & Trading Aces also looked good for a while, but after trouble at fence 24 Phillip...

Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team in 3rd After Dressage

Over two days, all eventing horses at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games have completed their dressage tests, and the U.S. Team sits in Bronze Medal position. There's a lot of competition left...but it's a great start! The highest placed rider and horse are Phillip Dutton & Trading Aces . They are in a tie for 9th place with 43.8.

Martin & Shamwari 4 Close U.S. Eventing Dressage Effort with 46.3

Boyd Martin was the finla American to go down centerline this morning in the eventing dressage test, and they picked up the final score for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team. Their 46.3 is second best score for the U.S. and has them in 15th place at the moment .
