US Equestrian has announced the four athlete-and-horse combinations that have been selected to the U.S. Para Dressage Team for the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 alongside one direct reserve and two team alternates. Chef d’Equipe Michel Assouline and Team Leader Laureen Johnson will lead the team in Tokyo. Paralympic equestrian competition is set to begin on August 26 and continue through August 30, 2021, at the Equestrian Park venue in Tokyo, Japan.

The Adequan® U.S. Para Dressage Team returns to competition this week when they go head-to-head against Canada in the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) Week 9 CPEDI3*, running March 8-10 at the AGDF showgrounds.
After a record-setting 2018, the U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Team returns to competition this week in the $10,000 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) Week 2 CPEDI3*, running January 18-20 at the AGDF show grounds. Chef d’Equipe Michel Assouline will lead the three FEI World Equestrian Games™ (WEG) Tryon 2018 medalists Rebecca Hart, Kate Shoemaker, and Roxanne Trunnell, along with Debbie Stanitski, as they represent the U.S. in the first event of the 2019 season.
The U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Team presented by Deloitte, consisting of Rebecca Hart, Annie Peavy, Kate Shoemaker and Roxanne Trunnell, arrives at the World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 with veteran experience. Hart, Peavy and Trunnell have represented the U.S. at previous Paralympic Games and WEGs. Shoemaker will make her WEG debut in Tryon. As the youngest discipline in the WEG, the U.S. has been working to grow para-equestrian sport.
