For 2005 the FEI has recognized the CCI** as a CIM, as defined in Appendix D of the FEI General Regulations. Due to this classification, under FEI General Rules, Article 139.2, horses taking part in CIMs in their country of residence are not required to have an FEI passport. Appendix 2 in the printed version of the USEF rule book incorrectly lists the Dressage Tests for Training Level as Novice C and Novice D. The correct tests for Training Level are Training Level C and Training Level D. A corrected version of the rule book will be available online at www.usef.org. Prince Bernhard, the President of the FEI from 1954 to 1964, passed away on December 1, 2004. He was 93 years old. Prince Bernhard, husband of Queen Juliana, who reigned from 1948, and father of the present Queen of the Netherlands, Beatrix, was born on June 29, 1911. In 1937 he married the then Princess Juliana.
