Aachen, Germany – U.S Equestrian has named Kristian Roberts, Tessa Divita, and the Pacific Coast Vaulters Squad to the U.S. Vaulting Team for FEI Nations Cup CVIO4* Aachen. Chef d’Equipe Emma Seely will lead the team as competition gets underway on Sunday, July 15 at 8:05 a.m. EST in the Albert Vahle Arena at the World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen.
The U.S. Vaulting Team is comprised of an individual male vaulter, individual female vaulter, and a squad who competed in V1, V2, V3, or V4, respectively, earlier in the week. The Nations Cup consists of all three members of the team competing in a Freestyle Test each, with the three scores then compiled for a team score. The U.S. Vaulting Team will compete in the seventh (Roberts), eighth (Divita), and ninth (Pacific Coast Vaulters Squad) position, against seven additional teams and six countries.

The Pacific Coast Vaulters Squad is comprised of Daniel Janes (Moss Beach, Calif.), Audrey Kiernan (San Mateo, Calif.), Margaret Long (Seattle, Wash.), Emily Rose (Santa Cruz, Calif.), and Haley Smith (Parker, Colo.). The squad will compete with Rio Grande 115, the 16-year-old Westphalian gelding, and lunger Sebastian Klemme.

Roberts finished in the top 10 in the V2C Prize of Sparkasse Compulsory Test and in the top 15 in the V2T Prize of Sparkasse Technical Test at CHIO Aachen on Friday, July 13. He then placed in the top 15 in the V2F Prize of Sparkasse Freestyle Test on Saturday, July 14.
Divita finished in the top 20 in the V1C Prize of Sparkasse Compulsory Test and V1T Prize of Sparkasse Technical Test at CHIO Aachen on Friday, July 13. She then finished in the top 15 in the V1F Prize of Sparkasse Freestyle Test on Saturday, July 14.
Pacific Coast Vaulters Squad finished in the top five in the V3C Prize of Sparkasse Compulsory Test at CHIO Aachen on Friday, July 13, and earned a top 10 in the V3F Prize of Sparkasse Freestyle Test on Saturday, July 14.
