Jeremy Olson Finishes Alone on Tough Day for U.S. Endurance Team

A slippery, muddy course didn't yeild much to U.S. endurance horses and riders today. 4 of the 5 horses that started in Sartilly were pulled at vet checks along the way, but Jeremy Olson & Wallace Hill Shade were able to complete the course. They are in 32nd place provisionally before tomorrow’s final horse inspection.

Heikes Earns Spot In Individual Reining Final

Troy Heikes was the only American competiting in the 2nd Individual Reining Qualifer in Normandy today. He & Lil Gun Dunit scored a 220. That was the best score of the competition and earned them a spot in the Individual Reining Final . Heikes qualification means that every U.S. rider and horse are qualified to compete for individual medals on Saturday.

Not to be lost in the excitment of the Team Gold Medal is the individual effort from Tom McCutcheon and Dun Git A Nicadual.
