In her youth career, Anna Buffini rode Sundayboy to wins in the FEI Young Rider Team and Individual Tests at the 2014 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions. That same year, they were members of the gold-medal team at the FEI North American Youth Championships.
Buffini placed first and second in the 2016 USEF Young Adult Brentina Cup Dressage National Championship with Sundayboy and Wilton II, respectively. At the 2019 USEF Festival of Champions, she came back with Wilton II to win the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle 16-25 en route to becoming Brentina Cup Reserve National Champion.
In 2021, Buffini earned several top results early in the season with FRH Davinia la Douce, placing third in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special CDI3* at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival Week 10 and third in the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W at AGDF 5. Buffini competed abroad for the first time, riding FRH Davinia la Douce at the Achleiten CDI4*, CHIO Rotterdam, and CHIO Aachen. At CHIO Aachen, Buffini made her senior team debut and finished fourth in the FEI Grand Prix Special.
The following year, Buffini and FRH Davinia la Douce competed in their first FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final, finishing ninth in the Freestyle. They spent the spring competing in Europe, finishing second in the Achleiten CDI4* Grand Prix. In the fall, Buffini and FRH Davinia la Douce were second in the Grand Prix and Freestyle CDI-W at Desert Dressage II and III.
In 2023, Buffini and FRH Davinia la Douce were second in the Grand Prix and Freestyle CDI-W at Desert Dressage IV. They headed to the East Coast and won to the Grand Prix and Freestyle CDI-W at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. Buffini and FRH Davinia la Douce were sixth in the Freestyle of the FEI Dressage World Cup Final in Omaha. The pair then won the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special CDI3* at the Spring Benefit CDI.
