The 47th annual Canadian National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show (Canadian Nationals), affectionately known as “The Royal Red,” kicks off Aug. 23 at the Regina Exhibition Park. AMHA Board to Consider Half-Morgan Registry

In 1996, the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) Board of Directors (BOD) established a committee to investigate the possibility of establishing a Half-Morgan Registry. In 1997, the issue was placed on the 1998 proxy ballot as a non-binding referendum in an attempt to measure the member's interest in the issue. The United States Equestrian Federation deeply regrets the passing of Cindy Burge of Spokane, Washington. Ms. Burge was critically injured Saturday, July 24th at The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana, where she was competing in the Open Preliminary division when her horse tripped and fell on her while galloping on the flat.
